Yogas formed by Ketu
Ketu, like Rahu, forms its named yogas by joining a luminary. The two also form Kala Sarpa when every planet lies on one side of their axis.
| Yoga | How it is formed | Classical result |
|---|---|---|
| Grahan Yoga | Ketu is in the same sign as the Sun or the Moon. | The luminary is eclipsed. Detachment, a past-life colour, or a loss of clarity in that house. |
| Kala Sarpa | All seven planets from the Sun to Saturn lie on one side of the Rahu-Ketu axis. | A classical binding yoga. The house of Rahu shows where the pressure begins. It is not formed if any planet is outside that arc. |
